If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can reference past decisions.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard request logs including IP address, user agent, referring page and timestamp. These logs exist to keep the site working and secure, and are retained for a limited period.

Analytics and advertising

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics that do not build a profile of individual visitors and do not use cross-site tracking. Display advertising on this site may be served by third-party networks which may set cookies subject to their own policies.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not require an account, a login, or a newsletter subscription to read anything.
  • We do not build behavioural profiles of individual readers.

Children

This site is not directed at children under thirteen and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
