Before you write
- Corrections: include the page URL, the exact claim you believe is wrong, and a source we can check. This lets us act in one round rather than three.
- Review suggestions: tell us why the film is worth writing about, not just that you liked it. We are far more likely to act on a suggestion with an argument attached.
- Press: send the film title, release date, territory, and whether access is streaming or in-person. We do not guarantee coverage.
- Disagreements: welcome. Tell us what the review missed rather than what score you would have given. The former is a conversation; the latter is not.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment for coverage, in any form.
- We do not guarantee a review, a score, or a publication date.
- We do not remove published reviews, though we will correct factual errors within them.
- We do not provide a general film recommendation service by email.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I hear back?
Corrections and press enquiries are answered within five working days. General editorial mail is answered within two weeks. Review suggestions are read but not always answered individually.
Will you review my film?
We consider every submission but guarantee nothing. We are a small team with a curated library, and we prioritise films we have something specific to say about.
Can I write for you?
We occasionally commission. Send two published samples and a short pitch to editors@ajmoviereviews.com. We do not accept unpaid guest posts.
Can I advertise on the site?
Yes, through programmatic display. We do not sell editorial placement, sponsored reviews, or sponsored positions in ranked lists.
